Boston Takes Commanding 3-1 Series Lead over Mavericks

Brown, Porzingis Lead Celtics to Victory

The Boston Celtics are one win away from capturing their 18th NBA championship after dominating the Dallas Mavericks 122-84 in Game 4 of the NBA Finals on Tuesday night.

Jaylen Brown led the Celtics with 22 points, while Kristaps Porzingis, who came off the bench, added 20 points. The Celtics overwhelmed the Mavericks from the start, shooting 54.9% from the field and holding Dallas to just 35.8% shooting.

Luka Doncic led the Mavericks with 20 points, but he was held to just 7-of-22 shooting. Spencer Dinwiddie added 16 points, and Jalen Brunson finished with 15 points.

The Celtics took a 76-1 offensive rating in the first half, which led to a 122-84 blowout win. The victory gives the Celtics a commanding 3-1 lead in the series and puts them on the verge of their first NBA championship since 2008.
